Ken Climo wins the 2009 Beaver State Fling presented by KEEN.

What a great weekend. The weather was perfect. The course was in excellent shape. The competition was unbelievable!

Thanks to all who played, volunteered, watched, sponsored, and otherwise supported the 2009 Beavers State Fling. The PDGA continues to post updates from the event so check their web site regularly. We will start planning for next year soon with a final analysis meeting of the BSF planning team. If you have comments about this years Fling be sure to submit them on the comment form on this site. We want to make next years Fling even better than this year!

Final Round Lead Card Open

If you are looking to see a great round of golf come out Sunday the 24th of May to Milo McIver State park and watch the lead group play their last round. Ken Climo and Avery Jenkins are battling it out for first with Nikko Locastro and Steve Rico nipping at their heels.

Mini Course Update

Stumptown member Gawain Stern has unleashed the epic mini disc golf course on the 2009 Beaver State Fling presented by KEEN. The course utilizes the two islands and the pavilions that surround tournament central. Measuring a whopping 3292 feet this course is setup to test the skills of all competitors.

Ask about the course and tee signs at the Sweet Plastic both at tournament central. Grab a scorecard, your best minis and hit the links with a group of friends.

PDGA Clinics Thursday May 21st at Milo MciIver

The PDGA is hosting a disc golf clinic at the Beaver State Fling, Thursday May 21st from 5:30 pm -7:30 pm. The clinics are open to the public and will be taught by some of the worlds best players. Including Des Reading, Eric McCabe and Oregon's own Avery Jenkins & Dave Feldberg. They will be teaching the fundamental skills of the game like: Driving, Approach Shots, Putting and Course Management.
